Megazone Cloud's Expanison Plan
One notable success story involves Megazone Cloud, which is considering establishing an office in Uzbekistan. Attracted by the country's favorable business conditions, tax incentives, and a substantial pool of qualified young IT professionals, the company plans to train Uzbek cloud engineers to international standards.
Megazone Cloud is already familiar with the Uzbek market, having previously sent executives to explore potential collaboration with IT Park Uzbekistan. Following these discussions, Megazone Cloud expressed a keen interest in training young Uzbek specialists to provide IT services for its Korean clients. During their visit, representatives from Megazone Cloud assessed the infrastructure and technological capablities of IT park Uzbekistan's resident companies.
Megazone Cloud was a participant in the "Uzbekistan-Korea Business Seminar on IT" organized in 2023 by UNIDO ITPO Korea, NIPA, and IT Park Uzbekistan. The seminar played a pivotal role in sparking Megazone Cloud's interest in the Uzbekistan's IT market.
Daesung Company's Smart Beekeeping Initative
Another notable success story is Daesung Company's activities in Uzbekistan. With strong support from UNIDO ITPO Korea, Daesung Company, in collaboration with the Agency for Innovative Development of Uzbekistan, developed a new project aimed at introducing the Korean model of Smart Beekeeping. The Korea Procurement Agency approved financial support for Daesung Co.Ltd., which will provide 20 Smart Hive Controllers for Uzbekistan's beekeeping sector and conduct training sessions for local beekeepers in utilizing the equipment. Building upon the successful history of collaboration, UNIDO ITPO Korea and Daesung Co.Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Uzbekistan Beekeepers Association in September 2023, aiming to further advance the beekeeping technology in the region.
